This retractable electrode design sets the Pocket pH Meter apart from standard pocket testers, allowing the sensor to be extended for use and safely withdrawn for transport and storage. Manual calibration is carried out via a screw trim pot, and the meter offers a choice of coarser (0.1 pH) or finer (0.01 pH) resolution depending on the level of precision required. Its impact-resistant ABS case and splash-proof membrane keypad make it well suited to fieldwork, and the full kit, including electrode, protective cap, calibration screwdriver, 50 mL calibration solution and carry case, means it is ready to use straight out of the box.
